Overview
The Student Counseling and Anti-Discrimination Cell at our institution is dedicated to maintaining a harmonious, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students. We believe that mental well-being and social equality are fundamental to academic success. The cell acts as a bridge between students and the administration to resolve grievances related to discrimination and to provide psychological support.
Objectives

To provide a platform where students can seek help for academic, personal, or psychological stress.

To ensure a campus free from any form of discrimination based on caste, creed, religion, gender, or disability.

To promote diversity and inclusive growth among the budding pharmacy professionals.

To organize workshops and seminars on mental health awareness and social equality.
Student Counseling Services
The cell offers a confidential and non-judgmental space for students to discuss:

Academic Stress: Guidance on managing the rigorous pharmacy curriculum and exam anxiety.

Personal Guidance: Counseling for home sickness, relationship issues, or self-esteem.

Career Counseling: Helping students identify their strengths for roles in Hospital, Industry, or Research.

Anti-Discrimination Policy
In compliance with the UGC and State Government regulations, the college maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy toward discrimination.

Scope: This includes discrimination based on social origin, physical disabilities, or linguistic differences.

Grievance Redressal: Any student who feels they have been a victim of discrimination can submit a written complaint to the cell.

Confidentiality: Every case is handled with strict confidentiality and processed by the committee within a stipulated timeframe.
