B.Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

The Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (B. Pharm) provides students with practical training for a career in Pharmacy. The course is designed with an emphasis on research, industrial and clinical experience. B. Pharm course provides training on different formulation of drugs (Tablets, capsules, syrups, injections, etc.), their chemistry, and pharmacology, including herbal drugs.

The general peadagogy includes combination of lectures, seminars, research projects, practical laboratory assignments, interactive Sessions and industrial visits. The Central Institute of Pharmacy has adequate infrastructure, advanced & sophisticated laboratory facilities, computer centre and a treasure trove of books for the students.

Duration: 4 Years

Eligibility:

10+2 with 60% and Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Math/Biology/ Biotechnology.
*The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years

For Lateral Entry:

Passed Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with minimum 60% or 6.0 CGPA
