International Standards

At Hygia college of pharmacy (HCOP), we prepare students to thrive in a constantly evolving technological landscape. Our standards are designed to empower the student’s voices and ensure that learning is a self-driven process. Students leverage technology to take an active role in achieving and demonstrating competency in their learning goals.

Students articulate and set personal learning goals, develop strategies leveraging technology to achieve them and reflect on the learning process itself to improve learning outcomes. Students use technology to seek feedback from mentors that informs and improves their practice and to demonstrate their learning in a variety of ways. The mentors help our students in understanding the concepts of technology operations so that the students can demonstrate the ability to use and troubleshoot current technologies and are able to transfer their knowledge to explore current technologies.

Students also curate a variety of resources using technical tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others. Students build knowledge by actively exploring real-world issues and problems, developing ideas and theories and pursuing answers and solutions.
